50th Episode Extravaganza – What Would Billy Mitchell Do?

This month on Gameroom Junkies, we take some extra time to celebrate our milestone 50th episode and addition to the GeekDad Podcast Network with a wide range of news, topics, and guest interviews. First off we discuss games in the news including the upcoming movies Tron 3 and Adam Sandler’s Pixels. We interview the star of the movie King of Kong and video game player of the century Billy Mitchell to ask “what would Billy do?” Preston talks to console expert Bryan about the best console games for families to enjoy together, we answer viewer mail, and give our suggestions for a ’50s game room theme.

We want to thank everyone who has ever listened to our show for sticking around for 50 amazing episodes. We look forward to the next 50 and beyond!

  1. The show notes don’t seem to match the show’s content…
    Still a great show though!!

    • Thanks for pointing that out. The file name has been updated to show the current #50 and should be good now. Thanks for listening. Hope you enjoy!

  2. Is there a direct download link somewhere for EP#50? I’m not seeing it.

    • Hey Ryan, It’s possible your browser is blocking the embedded flash player. I went ahead and added some hyperlinked text above the player. LMK if that doesn’t work for you. Thanks for listening!

  3. Fantastic! The flash player box worked but won’t let me download it at all. I have an 8 hour drive ahead of me today, need some GameroomJunkies on the go. Thank you.

  4. I’m probably too late and it might not be the place to send you the answer for the Billy Mitchell’s question … anyway I think the answer is Kick.

    • You’re right on both accounts. Kick (or Kickman) is the correct answer, but someone got it just a couple hours after the podcast released.

  5. I hope that Galloping Ghosts arcade does not get the Guiness record.
They probably have the arcade with the largest number of games but most of them are not in the original cabinet like they have at FunSpot ACAM.
I think that they should only count the games in original cabinet not the converted cabinet and dual games cabinet.
