It’s hard to believe that it has already been one year since the website went live. In that time, we have featured twenty-two fantastic gamerooms in showcase articles on our blog. Folks who have shared their photos and stories with us this year received a free Gameroom Junkies T-shirt as a “thank you” from us here at GJ (Don’t forget the internet fame too!) , but I wanted to do just a little something more. That’s why we’re going to hold our first “Gameroom of the Year” contest.
This contest will be decided by the people – the hobbyists and enthusiasts that are the reason we do what we do. All 22 gameroom showcases that we previously featured this year are eligible to win this contest. No new entries will be allowed for this year’s voting. Links to all articles can be found below. The contest is very low-tech, so here’s how it works: Simply email us the name of your FAVORITE gameroom that we have featured in the past year to gameroomjunkies@gmail.com to enter them in the contest. This isn’t to judge who has the largest collection or the biggest space, but who pulled of the best “complete package”. It’s all up to you to decide. Whichever gameroom receives the most votes over the next 30 days will win the contest and be crowned “2011 Gameroom of the Year!”

I’m completely jealous of all of them, but the clean, straightforward design of Barry’s Arcade – http://bit.ly/jm3yyu stuck in my mind and gets my vote.
