Remembering the Best – Luna City Arcade

Peter Hirschberg’s 2400 square foot arcade was considered by many to be the best private game room in the country. Luna City Arcade held 60-70 games from the 70’s and 80’s at any given time. From what I understand, however, Luna City is no more. For personal reasons, the games have been sold and are long gone. Enjoy this video of what was possibly the greatest home arcade ever! Check out Peter’s website for more pictures and info about Luna City. And for something really cool, be sure to check out the Battlezone-style “vector” game Peter created for the iPhone and iPod touch, Vector Tanks!

  1. Gone?!

Man if that’s true, that’s the most depressing thing I’ve read about in the hobby, pretty much ever.

Man, must have been a doosey to go through all of that to get your dream arcade, only to get rid of it all.

I hope everything is okay for Peter and his family.
