Spaced Out! – Custom Space Invader Tiles

Space Invader Ceiling Tiles

KLOV user “Crazy Climber” recently shared his cnc-routed Space Invader tiles he made to cover his arcade’s ceiling. Brian says,

I made these at work on my CNC machines for my home arcade. I am testing them out in this small corner of the arcade to see how well they hold but it’s been a few weeks and they are still there..so far so good. They are made of composite aluminium and come pre painted. I thought they turned out pretty good. The light box is also composite aluminium with an arcade marquee (x-men) rivited in and placed over the ceiling lights to illuminate it.

Initially, Brian posted only to share and look for others’ opinions. However, the response was overwhelming. “Crazy Climber” creates these using leftover scrap from pre-fab buildings he constructs for his job, so he says material is always at the ready and he graciously opened up shop to accept all the order requests that immediately started pouring in. Color choices range from red, white, and blue to a vast array of metallic finishes. Brian is offering these at the amazingly low price of only $1 per invader, plus actual shipping. No order is too small. I’ve got my order in – hurry while supplies last!
